Natural Horn

The natural horn is a horn without valves. Originally it could only play notes in the natural harmonic series, but as the technique developed over the years, a virtuoso could play an amazing range of notes, even complete scales, by changing the position of the hand in the bell.

Phoenix Music is starting a new series of publications for the Natural Horn ranging from traditional music to pieces of a modern genre. These show off the unique tonal range of the natural horn (which is both different and similar to the modern valve horn).
